General Rental Conditions

Last updated 5 October 2026

1. Purpose and parties

These General Rental Conditions ("GRC") govern the rental of ski and snowboard equipment between:

FG SOLUTIONS SARL, trading as SkiDoc, share capital €7,500, RCS Chambéry 890 383 078, 276 Route des Mines, 73210 Aime-la-Plagne, France, VAT FR09890383078 ("SkiDoc" or "the Seller"),

and any consumer, resident in France or abroad, who books equipment rental through www.skidoc.fr, through a partner booking site operated by SkiDoc, or through an order prepared on their behalf by a SkiDoc partner ("the Client").

2. Products and services

SkiDoc rents ski and snowboard equipment, delivered and fitted at the Client's place of stay. The main characteristics of the equipment and services are described on the booking site. The services are intended for consumers.

3. Partner booking sites

SkiDoc operates booking sites in partnership with travel agencies, tour operators, accommodation providers and other partners ("Partners"). These sites may carry the Partner's name and branding.

On every booking site, the rental contract is concluded between the Client and SkiDoc only. The Partner introduces SkiDoc's services and is not party to the rental contract. SkiDoc is solely responsible for the rental service, delivery, fitting, collection and the handling of claims.

SkiDoc is not bound by statements, offers or commitments made by a Partner outside the booking site, unless SkiDoc has confirmed them in writing.

The Partner may view the orders placed through its booking site in order to assist its clients. SkiDoc may pay the Partner a commission; this has no effect on the price paid by the Client.

4. Prices

Prices are in euros, all taxes included (TTC). Prices shown on a partner booking site are specific to that site and may differ from those on www.skidoc.fr. They cannot be combined with discount codes or other offers unless stated.

SkiDoc may change its prices at any time. The price applicable is the one shown when the order is placed. Any administrative fees are shown in the order summary before payment.

SkiDoc is not responsible for exchange rates or fees applied by the Client's bank.

5. Orders

5.1 Orders placed by the Client. The Client selects the equipment, completes the required fields (including the place of stay and the details of each person), may add Damage & Theft Protection, and accepts these GRC before payment.

5.2 Orders prepared by a Partner. A Partner may prepare an order on the Client's behalf and invite the Client to activate it in the SkiDoc client area. The Client accepts these GRC when activating the order or paying for it, whichever comes first. The Client must check all details entered by the Partner and correct them before the deadline set in article 7.

5.3 The Client confirms they are legally able to contract and that the information provided is accurate. SkiDoc may refuse an order where information is inaccurate or a previous dispute is unresolved.

5.4 The order is final once payment is confirmed. SkiDoc sends a confirmation by email and the order is available in the client area. SkiDoc then contacts the Client to arrange delivery.

6. Payment

Payment is made to SkiDoc by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through the secure Stripe platform. Card data is encrypted and is neither accessible to nor stored by SkiDoc. Payment is due when the order is placed; if payment is refused, SkiDoc may cancel the order.

Split payment. Where available, the person who places a group order may pay for selected members and send payment links so that other members pay their own share. Each member's equipment is confirmed once their share is paid. The person who placed the order remains responsible for the equipment of members whose share remains unpaid at the date of delivery, unless those items are removed from the order beforehand.

Currency conversion fees and bank charges are borne by the Client and are not refundable.

7. Modifications

Until the order is prepared for delivery (status shown in the client area), the Client can change equipment, dates and member details directly in the client area. The Partner may also do so for orders placed through its booking site.

When a change increases the price, the Client receives a payment link for the difference. When it lowers the price, SkiDoc refunds the difference to the original payment method.

After the order is prepared for delivery, changes can only be requested from SkiDoc by email (contact@skidoc.fr) or WhatsApp/SMS (+33 (0)7 55 53 73 69), and are subject to availability. No changes can be made on the day of delivery.

8. Delivery and use of the equipment

SkiDoc delivers and fits the equipment at the address and on the date given in the order, within the agreed time slot. SkiDoc will inform the Client of any delay. SkiDoc is not responsible for delays caused by exceptional circumstances, lack of access, or the Client's unavailability.

The Client must use the equipment with care and is responsible for it throughout the rental. Subletting is prohibited.

9. Damage & Theft Protection

When booking, or at the latest on delivery before handover, the Client may add Damage & Theft Protection (shown as "Insurance" in the booking process) for €2 per person per day, non-refundable. It covers partial or total breakage, damage and theft of the rented equipment, with no excess. Theft requires a police report.

It does not cover loss, forgetting, swapping, or damage caused by improper use; in these cases the Client pays the full value of the equipment.

Without Damage & Theft Protection, the Client pays the cost of repair where possible, or otherwise the replacement cost of the equipment as new.

Claims must be sent to contact@skidoc.fr.

10. Cancellation

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to contact@skidoc.fr. If received before the delivery date, the order is refunded in full except for Damage & Theft Protection. A partial or full refund (excluding Damage & Theft Protection) is also possible if the Client cannot travel, cannot use the equipment or ends the rental early, provided the equipment is returned in its original condition.

11. Right of withdrawal

Under French law and the EU consumer rules, the Client may withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason, unless the service has already been fully performed. To withdraw, contact contact@skidoc.fr or use the withdrawal button in the client area. Refunds are made within 14 days of the request.

12. Liability

SkiDoc is not liable for indirect damage, temporary unavailability of the booking site, misuse of the site or the services, delays due to events beyond its control, incorrect information provided by the Client or entered by a Partner and not corrected by the Client, or weather, social or economic disruption. Nothing in these GRC limits SkiDoc's liability where the law does not allow it.

13. Complaints and mediation

Complaints should be sent to contact@skidoc.fr as soon as possible, with supporting documents, so that an amicable solution can be found, including for orders placed through a partner booking site.

If no satisfactory answer is received within 60 days, the Client may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: CM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de justice), 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, www.cm2c.net. The Client must do so within one year of the written complaint.

14. Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with SkiDoc's Privacy Policy and the GDPR. For orders placed through a partner booking site, the Partner can view the order details as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Intellectual property

All content on SkiDoc's booking sites is protected. Partner names, logos and images belong to the Partners. Any reproduction without authorisation is prohibited.

16. Applicable law and disputes

These GRC are governed by French law. The French version prevails. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the competent courts will be determined in accordance with the applicable consumer rules.
